What you need:
COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint – desired color
- Protective surface cover

- Tools for removing hardware
Cabinet hardware before photo
Cabinet hardware is a small detail that makes a BIG impact in any room. Save yourself some extra cash and use spray paint to help create the look you want!
Lightly sand shiny hardware before painting
First remove all hardware from your cabinets. For shiny hardware like this laundry bar, you’ll want to lightly sand it with fine-grit sandpaper to give the spray paint some texture to grip onto.
Spray several light coats of spray paint
Working in a well-ventilated area, spray several light coats of spray paint onto the hardware, letting dry between coats. Avoid trying to knock it out with one heavy coat, because you could end up with drips and color pooling.
Spray paint your accessories too
And while you’re at it, you might as well paint some new accent pieces to go with your hardware!
Reattach hardware once cured
Once the fixtures have completely cured after spray painting, it’s time to reattach them to your cabinets. Then sit back and enjoy your new high-end look; and while you’re at it, give yourself a pat on the back for saving money too! (We think you should treat yourself to a vacay from housework with all of that cash you saved.)
