Drop cloth or protective surface cover
Gather the materials for this custom fedora hat. For this project, we’re using COLORSHOT in Lucky Penny and Cheers for a beautiful rose gold finish. Place the hat onto a drop cloth or protective surface cover and work in a well-ventilated area.
Remove the band before painting your custom fedora hat. Shake the can of spray paint well for at least 1 minute, then apply the spray paint in light, even strokes. Allow the paint to dry to the touch.
Once the base color has dried to the touch, apply a light coat of COLORSHOT in Cheers to your custom fedora hat. Allow the spray paint to dry completely before proceeding.
Personalize your custom fedora hat with assorted trims and cords. We used a combination of sage green trims and tan leather cord to create a natural, earthy look.
