Painted Tea Light Holders

Pretty much everyone has tea light candles around the house ... put them to good use during your dinner party for a pretty glowing table centerpiece that doesn't distract from the yummy food and good conversation. Keep with your party theme by making sure your tea light holders match the other colors you're using ... and before you sigh and get annoyed thinking, "Great, one more thing I have to find, thanks for making me feel bad COLORSHOT," hold up. All you need to make your tea light holders ready to play at your party is a can or two of COLORSHOT Spray Paint. Seriously, just spray paint your tea light holders for a quick and easy way to create a beautiful table centerpiece that's easy on the eyes, your budget and your time to get it all together.  

What you need:

- COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint (we used Extra Guacamole and Lucky Penny)
- Glass tea light holders
- Spray bottle
- Vinegar and water
- Masking tape

Make sure the tealight holders are clean and free of dust. If you are going to be creating half & half mercury-glass inspired designs, have your masking tape, vinegar and spray bottle ready!

For solid-color tea light holders, simply spray paint the entire holder, applying several light coats and allowing to dry in between coats.

For the mercury glass inspired tea light holders, first tape off the top section of the holder to protect from overspray. Spray several light coats of first color onto bottom half, letting dry in between coats. Remove the tape and let dry completely. 

Once the bottom half is dry, tape over it to protect the color from overspray. In a spray bottle, mix a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water and spray onto the top half of glass holder. Immediately spray with spray paint and let dry. Remove tape.

Now your party table is ready for colorful ambiance that pairs perfectly with good food and good company!
