Painted Cornhole Outdoor Party Game
Do you enjoy throwing things for sport? Are you good at tossing items where they need to be, like laundry in the hamper, or a cold beer to your best friend? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should put your skills to good use with your very own Cornhole outdoor party game. Sure, you could stick with a basic set you can order online, but you’re not basic, are you? Kick up the color factor on a standard Cornhole set with COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint and chevron stencils! This is a great outdoor project that turns into a fun summer game for any party or get together!
What you need:
- COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint (we used Emoji, Orange Slice, Stiletto, Mermaid, Black Tie Affair)
- Cornhole game set
- Large chevron pattern stencil
- Protective plastic
- Painter's tape
For your Cornhole game, you can choose to paint with as many colors as you like; we went with five to keep with our backyard games theme, but feel free to have fun with it! We recommend selecting a palette that makes you feel like a winner. Gather your large stencil, your paints and supplies and get ready for an awesome outdoor project.
Cover your game board with protective plastic up to the point where you are painting your first color section. Tape the plastic in place and lay your stencil down over the exposed section. Begin spraying several light coats of color until your desired coverage is achieved. Remove the stencil once finished.
Once the first section is dry, cover it with plastic to protect from overspray, as well as the remaining sections to be painted, leaving only the one you are currently painting exposed. Repeat spray and masking process for each section until the game board is complete.
See how easy that was? Now you're ready to show everyone who's the outdoor party game champion!
