Clean and tape off mirror
There really aren’t a ton of tricks you need to know when learning how to spray paint a mirror frame. If you’re going to be keeping the mirror intact and using it as an actual mirror in your space, first make sure to cover the mirror with heavy paper and tape securely around the edges of the mirror itself. (You’ll want to clean the mirror edges first from any dust or prints so you get a secure hold with the tape to prevent any paint from seeping underneath.) If you won’t be keeping the mirror and only the frame, you can remove it, just make sure to clean the frame before painting.

Working in a well-ventilated area, spray several light coats on the mirror frame, letting dry in between coats. Check to make sure you’ve gotten all edges, and if your frame has texture, double check that the texture is evenly coated with paint. Once you’re happy with the look, let dry completely before adding your acrylic panel or whatever you decide to do with your frame. And that’s it!
