Colorful Custom Snowboard with Spray Paint

What you need:

COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paints (This project uses Cosmo, Center Stage, Emoji, With a Twist, Aromatherapy, and Paparazzi)

COLORSHOT White Primer

Snowboard

Vinyl decals

Smoothing tool

Craft knife

Drop cloth or protective surface cover

Step 1 - Prepare the snowboard

Make sure your board is clean, dry, and free of dust and debris before you start on this custom snowboard DIY. Place your snowboard onto a drop cloth or protective surface cover and work in a well-ventilated area.

Step 2 - Apply primer

Use COLORSHOT White Primer to prime your snowboard for painting. This will provide maximum adhesion and give your custom snowboard a solid base for super vibrant results.  Allow the primer to dry to the touch before proceeding.

Step 3 - Add vinyl decals

Use vinyl decals to add fun designs to your custom snowboard! Once you’re satisfied with the placement of each decal, peel off the backing and use a smoothing tool to adhere them to your board. Continue adding vinyl decals until you’re satisfied with the overall design.

Step 4 - Apply spray paint

Prepare your spray paints by shaking the cans well for at least one minute. Hold the can 6"-10" from the surface and spray paint your custom snowboard in smooth, even strokes.

Step 5 - Continue applying spray paint in desired colors

This custom snowboard is full of vibrant colors! Continue applying spray paint in your desired colors until your board is completely painted. This project uses Cosmo, Center Stage, Emoji, With a Twist, and Aromatherapy for a bold color palette that will look extra vibrant against a mountain of fresh powder!

Step 6 - Apply glitter spray paint

Allow the spray paint to dry to the touch, then add a sparkling finish your custom snowboard with COLORSHOT in Paparazzi!

Step 7 - Remove vinyl decals with a craft knife

Use a small craft knife to carefully remove the vinyl decals from your custom snowboard.

Step 8 - Reveal your personalized snowboard art!

Allow the spray paint to dry completely, then your custom snowboard is ready to use! Hit the slopes in style with your own super colorful snowboard.
